A man appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court today charged with having indecent pictures of children.
John Millarkie, 54, who lives in the town, made no plea or declaration when he appeared before Sheriff Philip Mann.
He was committed for further examination.
The town centre was a hive of activity this afternoon with Living Lerwick’s street parade the centre of attraction.
