The firstVic Galloway Presents… gig in Mareel has been postponed until November due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

The concert, with a bill featuring The Phantom Band, Honeyblood, local rock band The Last and a set from BBC radio DJ Galloway himself, had been due to take place on Saturday night.

It has now been rescheduled for Saturday 24th November, with original tickets purchased still valid.

A Shetland Arts spokeswoman said: “Tickets for Saturday 13th October are all transferrable for Saturday 24th November. If you can’t make it along on that date, please contact Shetland Box Office for a refund.”
