Ferry cancelled

0 comments, , by , in News

Stormy weather has resulted in the cancellation of Monday’s ferry sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen.

The 7pm sailing has been cancelled due to a forecast of storm force winds and very high seas around Fair Isle.

The northbound sailing from Aberdeen to Lerwick has been delayed. Hrossey is scheduled to depart Aberdeen sailing for Lerwick at 7pm. She will load and close up as normal and then is expected to depart anytime up to 5am on Tuesday.

The estimated arrival time in Lerwick is 5pm.

A sailing by freight vessel Hildasay from Lerwick to Kirkwall and Aberdeen on Monday has also been cancelled.
