Woman in court accused of biting

A woman has appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court accused of biting a man on the hand.

Donna Paton, 47, of the town’s Robertson Crescent was released on bail after appearing from custody on a charge alleging she caused injury by the assault. The incident is said to have taken place at her home address on Sunday.

Her case before Sheriff Philip Mann was continued without plea until 21st February.

Defence agent Tommy Allan moved for bail until then, which was not opposed.
