Trial date set for man accused of sexually assaulting woman at Firth
A man who pleaded not guilty to two charges against women appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court today and will go to trial in February.
Christopher Weldon, 39, of Cwnfelin Cottage, Rhiwfawr Road, Lower Cwmtwrch, Swansea, denied sexually assaulting a woman in a house in Leaside, Firth, on Saturday.
He also denied behaving in a threatening and abusive way to another woman who was sleeping, by placing his hands under the bedclothes, touching her and attempting to kiss her, at the same address on Saturday.
He will go to trial on 5th February with an intermediate diet on 9th January.
