Reduced SIC sick leave (Les Sinclair)

It was heartening to note from last week’s article on SIC sick leave levels that, possibly due to improved management practices, there appears to have been a significant reduction in SIC staff absenteeism. Let’s hope this trend can be maintained in order that the overall well-being of SIC staff can continue to improve.

It would also be interesting to see the record of attendance at SIC meetings for our present cohort of elected representatives since they were elected.

Does it compare well with the record of attendance for SIC staff?

Perhaps it could be published in an accessible form in a future edition of The Shetland Times?
