House at Breiwick Road damaged in fire

Firemen doused a blaze at a house in Breiwick Road in Lerwick on Friday night. The brigade were called out at 9.34pm and used two hose reel jets and eight sets of breathing apparatus in the course of putting out the fire.

The ceiling of the downstairs flat and the lounge area were fire damaged, according to a spokesman for the fire brigade.
