Bressay house fire

0 comments, , by , in News

Firefighters were called to a fire at a property in Bressay just before 7am this morning.

Two appliances from Lerwick went to the island by ferry, and one appliance from Bressay also attended.

The fire, which destroyed a garage attached to a house at Beosetter, is believed to have been caused by a direct lightning strike.
