Police appeal over assault

Police are appealing for information about an assault near a Lerwick chip shop before Christmas.

The disturbance took place outside the Harbour Chip Shop in Harrison Square in the early hours of 20th December.

Police say an unknown man assaulted “several members of the public” between 2.50am and 3.30am.

Anyone with any information is requested to contact the Police on 101.
