A 62-year-old woman has died after an incident while working with her cattle.
Patricia Wishart of Tumblin, near Bixter, died around 5pm on Friday while attending to the beasts.
Police Scotland said that they received a report of a work-related incident at an agricultural site in Bixter around 5.12pm.
They confirmed today that a 62-year-old woman had died as a result of her injuries, which were sustained during an incident which involved the handling of livestock.
A joint investigation with Police Scotland and the Health and Safety Executive has been carried out.
