A Brae man appeared in private in the sheriff court on Friday charged with rape and having intercourse with an older child among other sexual offences.
Zai Joe-Lee Vessey, 22, appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court and made no plea or declaration and was fully committed for trial and remanded in custody. No date has yet been set for his trial.
