Police seek witnesses to alleged careless driving

, by , in News

Lerwick Police are seeking witnesses to an incident of alleged careless driving in the town’s Sound Brae at 4.30pm on Saturday.

They had a report of a silver van overtaking other vehicles in the path of oncoming traffic, causing several vehicles to take evasive action. One of these vehicles was a black Ford Mondeo, and police would be interested in speaking with the occupants of this car.

Anyone with information is asked to phone police on 101 and ask for the Lerwick Police Station.
