A 37-year-old man is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court tomorrow following the report of an alleged assault in Stanegarth, Lerwick, around 4.55pm on Sunday.
A 26-year-old man was treated for minor injuries at Gilbert Bain Hospital after the incident but was discharged later that day.
A report regarding the matter will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
