0 comments, , by , in News

Two fire engines put out a blaze in a two-storey house in Hillswick on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Scottish Fire Service appliances from Lerwick and Scalloway were called to the ground-floor fire at 3.38pm and used a hose reel jet, four sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera in the course of the incident.

A stop call to the incident was issued at 5.18pm but it was expected to be some time before the appliances could return to their stations.
