The police are looking for information following an alleged careless driving incident on the main Lerwick to Sumburgh road yesterday.
According to police a a black BMW 3 series car was seen driving south on the A970 from Lerwick at approximately 5.30pm.
The car was reported as being driven in “a careless manner and overtaking recklessly”.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to telephone Lerwick Police Station on 101.
Lerwick Community Council (LCC) has donated more than £1,600 towards replacing the old electronic timing system at the Clickimin swimming pool.
