New opening times for Mossbank Post Office
The Post Office is changing the current opening hours for Mossbank Post Office in Shetland.
The new opening times, which will commence from Monday 12 September, are 9am – 12pm; Monday and Wednesday and 2pm – 6pm on Friday. Post Office services will be available for 10 hours a week.
Post Office Manager David Duff said: “We believe that the change of opening hours presents the best possible solution to allow us to maintain Post Office services in Shetland in the longer term.
“Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community and we are confident that the new opening hours will adequately meet the needs of the community and will ensure the service is sustainable into the future.”
