More than 500 properties lost power in Unst this morning after an electricity pole caught fire.
Scottish and Southern Electricity engineers went to the fault at about 2.30am at Gerrigarth.
About 540 properties were affected but the power restored to more than half within an hour.
More engineers travelled on the 7.45am ferry with all power restored by 11am.
