Painkiller tablets stolen

The police are advising people to be aware of a quantity of Dihydrocodeine painkiller tablets reported stolen from a car at Veester Hill in Sandwick.

The theft happened between last Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

According to the police the tablets were prescribed and could pose a risk to health if taken. If anyone finds them they are asked to hand the tablets in to the nearest pharmacy or police station.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the medication should contact the police on 101.
