Two days left for students to vote for representatives

Voting closes at noon on Friday for elections to the Highlands and Islands Students Association (HISA).

All students at Shetland College and the NAFC Marine Centre can cast their votes at https://hisavote.co.uk

Three regional student officers will be elected to represent all university students across the Highlands and Islands – from Orkney to Dunoon – at a regional and national level.

They are the HISA president, the HISA vice-president for higher education and the HISA vice-president for further education – representing more than 30,000 students.

It is the last chance for voters to have their say on who will represent them at a regional and national level, and help make change on issues like funding and student support on their behalf.
