Full emergency at Scatsta Airport

Emergency services attended a ‘full emergency’ at Scatsta Airport this afternoon [Monday].

A helicopter which was suffering difficulties was reported to the police at 2.14pm.

The fire service was contacted immediately afterwards and sent four appliances and an officer. The coastgoard also attended.

Crews were stood down at 2.45pm after the aircraft landed.
