A weekend of folk music at Mareel will reach a crescendo tonight (Saturday) with a star-studded concert.

The Folk Weekender festival, which started on Thursday, has featured a range of sessions, workshops and gigs.

Tonight’s “big gig” at 7.30pm will see performances from Kevin Henderson, Kris Drever and Laura-Beth Salter.

Tomorrow a panel discussion, chaired by journalist Alex Garrick-Wright, will bring the festival to a close.
