Flood alert for Shetland given by Sepa

A flood alert has been issued for Shetland, with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency warning of high tides and strong winds.

Sepa says there is a risk of waves “overtopping” at exposed locations.

It says the periods of greater risk are around high water at 11:30pm on Monday and 11:30am on Tuesday.
