Woman airlifted off oil supply ship

A sick crewperson had to be airlifted from an oil supply ship on Thursday afternoon.

The coastguard carried out the medical evacuation on the ship, which was around 100 miles north-east of Sumburgh.

After being called at 12.30pm, the coastguard helicopter carrying the sick woman was expected to arrive at Clickimin at approximately 3pm.
