This new position for Cooke Aquaculture will involve you travelling throughout our Seawater Regions in the North Isles of Scotland coordinating our FQ monitoring programme. This will include, but not be limited to: fish quality assessments, flesh quality monitoring, harvesting quality checks and sub-sampling.
Ideally, although not essential, you will reside in either Orkney or Shetland, however regular travel will be required and therefore will require flexibility with working hours. You need to be a team player, but also have the ability to work alone when required. All candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, accuracy and organisational skills. You must have a relevant degree, such as: Aquaculture, Biology or another science-based subject. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong passion for our sector, alongside some experience within Aquaculture.
