A car was reportedly damaged in the Tesco car park in Lerwick on Friday afternoon.
Police said the incident involved a grey Audi and happened between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
If anyone has any other information which can help with the enquiries they are asked to call the police on 101 or attend at Lerwick Police Station.
