Ferry to leave late due to weather

The southbound NorthLink sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen will leave late tonight (Wednesday) due to an adverse weather forecast.

The MV Hjaltland will now depart Lerwick harbour at 8pm, and will not stop at Kirkwall.

She was scheduled to sail at 5.30pm originally.

Tonight’s sailing of the freight boat MV Helliar is cancelled.
