Injured crewman airlifted

An injured offshore crewman was airlifted to hospital on Sunday morning.

The Sumburgh-based coastguard helicopter was summoned after the incident happened on a platform 92 miles south east of the isles.

The injured man was taken to Tingwall before being transferred to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment.
