A man has been released on bail after he was accused of carrying out sexual offences.
John Rankin, 47, whose address was given simply as “Shetland”, appeared in court in private on Wednesday.
He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.
A drug driving trial collapsed after the fiscal failed to ask a witness to identify the accused in court.
