Firefighters were called after a fire broke out in the garage of a house in Whalsay on Friday.
A crew on the island attended, while another appliance was dispatched from Lerwick.
The fire was soon extinguished, however, and the Lerwick crew was stood down.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said everyone was out of the property, and there were no injuries.
