Missing person found by coastguard rescue teams

A missing person was found in the early hours of Sunday morning after police and the coastguard rescue helicopter were scrambled.

The coastguard said that they were made aware of the missing person at around 2am.

Following “extensive searches of the Brindister, Gulberwick & Staney Hill areas”, the missing person was found in the Black Gaet area.

The teams were all stood down at around 6.30am.
