Coastguard called to late night evacuation

A crew member of a vessel was brought to Lerwick last night after suffering an injury.

Lerwick coastguard was called out to the vessel, lying 75 nautical miles southeast of Shetland, at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 13th May.

The crew member was returned to Lerwick for treatment.

The nature of the injury is unknown.
