Sumburgh 900 called to early morning medivac

The coastguard helicopter based at Sumburgh was called out to a medical evacuation in the early hours.

The 900 helicopter was called into action to rescue a fishing vessel crew member at 3am today, Saturday, 15th May.

The crew member was brought back to Sumburgh for medical treatment. No information regarding the nature of the medical emergency has been released.
