Police seek witnesses following dangerous overtaking

Police are seeking assistance after a car was seen carrying out a dangerous overtaking manoeuvre.

The incident is said to have happened on Tuesday on the A970 north road coming into Lerwick shortly before 3pm.

Officers say the car involved was dark in colour with a red trim on the roof.

One of the vehicles that was overtaken was a white flatbed truck.

Police say they are seeking witnesses to come forward.
