Bookshop staff show support for Ukraine

Staff at The Shetland Times Bookshop have shown their support for those in Ukraine with a window display in the colours of the country’s flag.

Decorated in yellow and blue, the display features diaries, sunflowers and bunting as a tribute to the country currently under invasion from Russia.

Great to see The Shetland Times Bookshop’s support for the people of Ukraine. I live in Sydney, Australia and since staying in Lerwick pre COVID, I have keenly read my email Shetland Times. Thanks so much, bookshop and your staff, for being strong and supportive as the people of Ukraine and their land suffer so horribly.
