Man admits assault at bus station

A man has been fined £395 after an assault at the Viking bus station in Lerwick.

Daniel Cassidy, 32, admitted two charges of assault and threatening behaviour at Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Monday).

The offences had been carried out on Saturday night.

Cassidy, of Regent Street, Greenock, was ordered to pay £395 in instalments of £50 per week.
