A 31-year-old man has been charged with domestic abuse and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
John Hutcheson appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Friday).
Hutcheson is from Shetland but his current address is listed as Grampian Prison.
He was remanded in custody and committed for trial.
A drug driving trial collapsed after the fiscal failed to ask a witness to identify the accused in court.
