UPDATE: Teen arrested after man hit in the face with bottle

Harrison Square.

A teenager has been arrested after a man was allegedly struck in the face with a bottle.

Police said the 30-year-old victim was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital with minor injuries following the incident.

It happened in Harrison Square, Lerwick, at around 3.20am this morning (Sunday).

A 15-year-old boy was arrested and released pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101  quoting incident number 0819 of 28th August.
