NorthLink crossing to depart ahead of schedule

NorthLink Ferries has warned of disruption to services.

NorthLink has confirmed its southbound crossing will depart Lerwick for Aberdeen ahead of schedule this evening (Saturday).

The Hjaltland had been scheduled to depart at 7pm but will no leave at 5pm.

She is expected to arrive in Aberdeen on time.

The confirmation follows yesterday’s operations update, which warned of minor schedule changes due to poor weather.
