Arrest made after Harrison Square assault

A 20-year-old man has been arrested after an assault in Lerwick’s Harrison Square in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police Scotland said that a 16-year-old male was attacked at around 2.50am.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The 20-year-old is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court at a later date.

Harrison Square was cordoned off on Sunday morning.
