A meteor was captured flying over Dunrossness this morning amid report of a large “bang” throughout Shetland.
Footage released by Shetland Webcams showed a meteor travelling across Dunrossness at 8.24am this morning.
Reports on Shetland Aurora Hunter Facebook page said a “bang” could be heard all over the isles from Unst to the South Mainland.
The council are asking for the public to come forward with their views for the second phase of the consultation on a new community council scheme.
