Count under way in Shetland North by-election

The count in the Shetland North by-election has begun.

Two candidates are standing for election – Natasha Cornick and Andrew Hall who are both independent. 

Voting took place yesterday at seven polling stations.

The counting of votes is taking place in Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick this morning (Fri), with the results expected to be declared before 11am.
