A medical evacuation is underway from an offshore oil rig west of Shetland, according to the Coastguard.
The emergency was reported at an installation just over 100 miles west of Sumburgh at 3.13pm.
At time of writing “the helicopter is on its way,” the Coastguard said.
The Coastguard did not provide any further details about the condition of the worker.
