All schools shut after overnight snowfall

All schools in Shetland are closed today (Monday) due to snow.

Following overnight snowfall across the isles, the SIC said a decision had been made to shut all schools and early year settings.

The Eric Gray at Seafield centre is also closed.

The council said that children's services staff would monitor the situation before making a decision about opening schools tomorrow.
