Body found in missing woman search

A body has been found on the shore in Lerwick during the search for a missing woman.

The body was discovered at around 1.50pm and reported to police.

Although formal identification has not taken place, the next of kin and family of missing woman Sharon O'Neill have been informed.

Police said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
