Bonfire burns brightly at Tingwall

An estimated 500 spectators gathered at the Tingwall Hall tonight [Saturday].

They were treated to a spectacular bonfire on a flat calm evening by the side of Strand Loch.

The bonfire was made up of between 400 and 500 wooden pallets, and was set alight to the accompaniment of a vibrant fireworks display.
