Flights to and from Sumburgh cancelled

Flights to and from Sumburgh Airport were cancelled today after cabling damage affected communication systems.

The airport said the damage had been caused by Storm Amy.

Sumburgh Airport said all impacted customers were contacted directly and advised not to travel to the airport.

It follows recent disruption brought by the poor conditions.
