Helicopter lands pump on boat

Shetland coastguard was involved in a call out to a fishing boat near Aberdeen in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The rescue helicopter 102 was sent out to put a pump on board the Rosemount, which was taking water aboard.

She was situated north east of Fraserburgh but as the helicopter at RAF Lossiemouth was on another job, Shetland coastguard was alerted and sent out at 1.30am. After delivering the pump, the crew returned to the base at Sumburgh.

The Rosemount made its way to Fraserburgh.
