Injured man taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital

An injured man has been taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick.

Police and ambulance were called to reports of an incident in Holmsgarth Road in the town this morning (Friday)

The Scottish Ambulance Service said the call came in just before 9am.

"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and a patient was transported to Gilbert Bain Hospital."
