The Lerwick lifeboat was called out late yesterday afternoon to go to the aid of an Inverness-registered fishing boat.

The Acorn (INS237) had got her propeller wound up in a net when she was fishing south-east of Fair Isle.

The lifeboat took the boat under tow and headed to Lerwick. They arrived at the Albert Dock at 3.50am today.
