Man appears in court charged with domestic abuse

A 55-year-old man has been charged with domestic abuse.

Andrew Sylvester entered no plea when he appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Monday).

Sylvester, whose address was given as Shetland, entered no plea, was committed for further examination and granted bail.

The date of the next appearance is yet to be confirmed.
